Singles
I learned of this band, as many people did, through the Letterman performance. And it is as stunning as the internet commentary leads you to believe. The album itself, though, leaves a little to be desired. It is samey — not in a particularly bad way, but in the sense that it feels like variations on the same song rather than a gestalt in of itself, as if they were hoping all ten tracks would get licensed by different auto manufacturers. It was not an unpleasant listen, but I think I will stick to the single, as the name suggests.
